Googling and googling, I'm having to piecemail gain access to information about traveling relics.
Various terms I'm googling:
"Traveling Relic Exposition"
"2013 Relic Tours"
"Saint Relic Tours"
"Catholic Saint Relic Tours"
"Relics on Tour"
"First Class Relics"
"Exposition of Relics"
"Relic Exposition"
"Relic Road Trip"
"National Itinerary"
"Follow the Relic"
"National Journey of the Relic"
"Artifacts Tour"
Its very hard to find any resources as to the origins of where these tours are scheduled/arranged.
It appears that the dioceses must contact the holders/keepers of the relics, and arrange for them to be sent to their diocese.
I searched the Vatican - the Holy See's website, and there is nothing about these tours.
I'm checking the main Catholic websites and haven't found any resources.
Update: I found one organization that organizes tours of relics:
The Pontifical Mission Societies: In the United States, here is their link to the schedule for St. Therese's writing desk 2013 tour:
http://www.onefamilyinmission.org/homepage/saint-therese-of-lisieux.html?start=4
Update: Also found this:
St Francis Xavier Relic Tour- National Itinery:
http://www.sydneycatholic.org/events/pilgrimageofgrace/national_itinerary.shtml
That tour is for Austrailia, but perhaps the relic will come to the U.S.?
Update: Found that Blessed Marianne Cope's relics go on tour in Hawaii; perhaps they will come to the U.S.?

How does one go about finding out which relics are being circulated/are available for tours?
I'm learning, and this is a learning process.
So this blog is in it's draft/early form.
Reader, please bear with me, as I will as time allows add new information.
I will also post information about who to contact to arrange for relics to come to one's diocese.
Perhaps because the relics are sacred and irreplacable, there is great secrecy as to how to obtain them, even just for a tour.
First, I'm making a list of saints and other themes where relic tours have previously occurred:

St. Padre Pio
Veneration of Glove of St. Padre Pio
A mitten worn by Saint Pio is held in the
Office and can be taken by a visitor to our little Oratory for a moment of
quiet contemplation and prayer.
This
web site is provided and organised by the Irish Office for Saint Pio. The
Office is an affiliated centre in Southern Ireland to the Friary in San
Giovanni Rotundo and is a resource centre for reading materials, videotapes,
devotional objects and medals of Saint Pio.

The Congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Cracow-Lagiewniki is the sole custodian of the relics of St. Faustina.
INSTRUCTIONS TO OBTAIN A FIRST-CLASS RELIC OF SAINT FAUSTINA
1. The Congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Cracow-Lagiewniki is the sole custodian of the relics of St. Faustina.2. The Congregation makes first-class relics — ex ossibus (bones) — available exclusively to parishes or chapels with the titular dedication of "The Divine Mercy," "Merciful Jesus," or "Saint Faustina." Parishes that are vital centers of the devotion to Jesus, The Divine Mercy, and to St. Faustina, His apostle, constitute an exception. All other parishes or religious centers are able to obtain a second-class relic — that is, a particle from a habit that St. Faustina wore.
First-class relics — ex ossibus — are made available only to parishes for the purpose of public veneration, for a more fruitful proclamation of the message of mercy and to attract many to the practice of the devotion to The Divine Mercy as handed on to us through St. Faustina.
